Casa Asia has invited the young Filipino writer Lobregat Balaguer (Manila, 1980) to present TenNet, her last poetry book. Together with another Filipino writer, Kaz Castillo (Los Ángeles, 1977), she will perform a dramatic reading of the poems.
Love Letters is the title of the activity which will be completed with a videoart program presented by the Filipino art critic and curator Yason Banal (Manila, 1977) and Lobregat Balaguer herself. Poetry and visual narratives come together in this event, to pay tribute to a popular writer and film critic, Alexis Tioseco (Philippines, 1981-2009), who was murdered along with his partner during a bizarre assault at his home, which has never been clarified.
