We offer prayers for the innocent lives lost in the recent bloody hostage drama in Manila, the families and loved ones they left behind and we join the people of Hong Kong, China and the Philippines in national day of mourning. We also pray for the safety of Filipinos who live and work in Hong Kong and are totally innocent of this massacre lest they receive the ire of the locals.
We condemn the incompetency of the Philippine authorities in responding to the hostage crisis, getting them ridiculed all over the world. We condemn that ordinary people, demented or not, would resort to this madness just to air their grievances and take the world hostage.
