¡Wow Madrid!

Here’s another old video, this time featuring our beloved country and our beloved kababayans. Some people like it because we’re sikat in this videoclip: actors were all Filipinos and practically all scenes were shot in the Philippines, a sort of  WOW Philippines promo ad . However, some don’t like it because it reinforced the stereotypes towards Filipinos and the Philippines: jolly, naive people from underdeveloped countryside with a spectacular view of the rice terraces. Developing countries like the Philippines also have skyscrapers and infrastructures like Metro stations although not as astonishing as the Metro de Madrid. Neil dela Cruz & Daniel Infante Tuaño
