Back in the country, Filipinos turned out in droves to participate in the first automated elections in the history of the Philippines, numerous complaints and unavoildable tempers flaring among voters as long queues formed at different polling precincts.
While abroad, particularly in Barcelona the process of absentee voting went smoothly and peaceful.
Congratulations to the Philippine Consulate staff and personnels, and to the volunteers for the conscientious effort. Matago-tago tako amin!!!
