Coco Martin and Baron Geisler
‘Jay’ bagged the 2010 Best Fiction Feature Film prize in the recently concluded Zinegoak film festival held in Bilbao.
Directed by Francis Xavier Pasion and stars Baron Geisler and Coco Martin, it talks about Jay, a schoolteacher who was brutally murdered. A TV producer got interested to use Jay’s story and wanted to convert the whole crime investigation into a reality show. Will Jay’s family agree on the camera exposure despite the crime that took place? Will this real story be good for TV viewers?
According to Roberto Castón, the festival director, ‘Jay’ is a film that will shock more than a few.
